The Portland Chapter was chartered in April 1997 after two provisional years. Our membership covers the entire Portland metropolitan area. In 2000, a new provisional chapter, Lake Oswego, branched off from ours. Mothers and daughters living in Lake Oswego can now choose between the two chapters. In order to join Lake Oswego chapter, members must reside in the Lake Oswego / West Linn area. Three additional chapters, Oregon Rose, Blue Heron and Sunnyside chapters of NCL, Inc. are also available in the Portland Metro area.
